Internship Positions

City Students

City Students is our ministry for middle and high school students. Our heart is to teach Scripture, create meaningful connection, and offer spaces—large and small—where students can grow and live out their faith. As an intern, you’ll serve at one of our four locations, investing in students and volunteers, helping plan and prepare weekly gatherings, supporting our Student Leadership Team, and assisting with the planning and execution of major student events. It’s an opportunity to learn, lead, and help shape the next generation.

City Friends

City Friends is our ministry that walks alongside families with special needs, offering support, care, and belonging. As an intern, you’ll build meaningful relationships with our ministry leaders and the families we serve, help plan events, prepare welcoming environments, and provide essential administrative support. It’s a chance to learn, serve, and help create spaces where every family feels seen and valued.

Creative

Our Creative Team supports every location and ministry through graphic design, communications, video storytelling, and more. We’re specifically looking for a Graphic Design Intern—someone who will partner with our design team to complete a variety of projects, from simple informational pieces to full series designs. This role offers hands-on experience serving our church through thoughtful, purposeful design.

KidCity

KidCity partners with parents in discipling their children—creating experiences and resources that help families live in the way of Jesus. Our team plays a vital role in Sunday services and hosts meaningful events for kids and families throughout the year. As a KidCity intern, you’ll support weekend services through logistical setup and preparation, and during the week, spend time connecting with, caring for, and helping recruit leaders. It’s a hands-on role that contributes directly to the spiritual formation of our youngest disciples.

Production

Every weekend, Church of the City plans and executes services with many moving parts—and our Production Team makes that possible. A Production intern will support technical needs across all locations, working closely with staff to learn audio, video, and lighting. You’ll assist with weekly services, large projects, equipment upgrades and installs, and learn to troubleshoot gear. Interns may also have opportunities to oversee the technical execution of a weekend service. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to nearly every ministry at Church of the City.

Wrap Around

At Church of the City, we care deeply about children in the foster care system and the families who welcome them. Our Wrap Around ministry invites our church to come alongside foster families with practical support and consistent care.We serve kids and families in a variety of meaningful ways—from offering respite and helping with everyday needs like laundry, to leading and training team members. This ministry helps our church embody the love, support, and steadiness every child deserves.
