One of the most profound expressions of faith is choosing to extend your generosity beyond your lifetime. A planned gift to Church of the City ensures that the mission of seeing God’s fame and deeds renewed in our city has resources for generations to come.

The most common form of legacy giving is through designating a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or particular assets to Church of the City in your will or living trust. You retain full control of your assets during your lifetime, but this simple bequest would ensure that your intent is honored.
Name COTC as a beneficiary on your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), life insurance policy, or bank account. These assets pass directly to the church outside of probate — often the simplest gift to arrange.
Name COTC as the owner or beneficiary of an existing or new life insurance policy. You may receive income tax deductions on premium payments, and the policy’s full death benefit passes to the church.
Several types of charitable trusts may allow you to support Church of the City while also providing financial benefits for you or your loved ones during your lifetime. Trust arrangements can be powerful giving tools. Still, they do require careful legal and financial planning. We recommend connecting with National Christian Foundation, a trusted partner, who can help you explore whether a trust arrangement is right for your situation.
